Sıcak Çermik is one of the best-known thermal spring destinations near Sivas, and a favourite for a relaxed day away from the city. It lies within Kalın village in the Yıldızeli district, on the Sivas–Ankara highway, approximately 31 km from the Sivas city centre, which makes it an easy, comfortable trip to arrange without an overnight stay.
The thermal water at Sıcak Çermik emerges at a temperature of roughly 46 to 50°C and contains sodium, sulphate, bicarbonate, magnesium and carbonate compounds. Locally, the water is associated with traditional relief for rheumatic complaints, skin conditions, respiratory issues, kidney and urinary concerns, and general muscular tension, alongside simply being a pleasant place to soak and unwind. The facility includes indoor thermal pools, private cabin baths, a family pool, and picnic and recreation areas around the site, along with a small hotel for visitors who would rather stay longer.
Day 1 — Thermal springs and barbecue
